- If you want to move to the art of making coffee then you will need some science as well. When testing roasted coffee for flavor, its mandatory that every cup be made identically.  If you want to experience what the Q-Grader experienced when they rated the coffee then you need a scale measure the exact amount of beans and then add in the exact amount of hot water to your Aeropress and let it steep a precise amount of time.  This little scale and timer lets you do exactly that.  This is what Josh uses at his tasting parties so everyone gets to sample exactly what he tasted when they did the first test roast.

☕AeroPress Coffee and Espresso Maker with Tote Bag

- A single cup press is the maker of choice for coffee Aficionados and Q-graders.  If you have never used a single cup press, Josh has videos on how they work. The Aeropress makes a single cup of coffee perfectly.    All of our tasting parties for new beans and roasts are done on an Aeropress.

- If you like pour overs (I do) you will love the Hario dripper.  Its V-shape is designed to evenly disperse the water across the filter so the grounds are more evenly saturated.  It has a large base and will fit over just about any size cup. Don't forget to buy HarioV60 paper filters to go with it.

☕Gevi Espresso Machine 

- For the home barista who is now holding Brazilian Gold tasting parties, this will let you take your coffee dreams to another level.  An affordable home Expresso system that allows you to get your feet wet in the Barista world.  If you think its expensive then divide the cost by whatever you are buying at *Starbucks* for a barista drink made with burnt beans in a paper cup. This will pay for itself in no time.

- One of the things I don’t like about French Press coffee is most presses are glass and the coffee gets cold steeping.  Mueller has solved this with a double-insulated press.  It also has a 4-stage screen so no grounds in the coffee.
